The Ice Storms
Stretching all the way from my neck of the woods to Maryland, there's a huge ice storm making its way to the East. Oklahoma was in a deep freeze and millions of people lost power, which wasn't that far from here where it dumped ice sheets on everything. We're kinda at the tip of it, being the next state over from Oklahoma, we got hit first with it.

This is some nasty stuff !!
 We've been getting it here in Western Maryland throughout the day. And now the high winds and snow have been added to it. I've finally gotten my Subaru Forester ! After 3 attempts of a relative ( who is a salesman for a Chevy dealership here in my hometown ) to "hold onto" one after locating it ( on the internet, of course ) and telling the other dealership that they have a buyer. Just "picked" it up today after work. I'm not fond of driving in this weather but when I have to...at least now, along with praying for God to be my "co-pilot", I've got my Subaru ! Hey sis can't bring up your profile and this thing is about to shut out on me. Been having 'puter problems and will need to stop by your house to check my mail since i can't seem to keep this on for more than five minutes at a time.
How about that ice huh? After you dropped off the fabric at Earl's yesterday he had me go pick him up and so I was stuck doing errands for him. So before this damn thing shuts out on me again I just wanted to drop you a note since I'm here. You probably won't get this until late. |

That's fine, sorry I missed you. Thanks for bringing some food over! Earl keeps that place cold because he must think we're all penguins or something. Now you see why I drop off the orders and leave quickly...otherwise you get stuck running him around. Did you want Brad to come over to take a look at your computer?
