Charlies christmas wish
 

I think thats what the movie is called. There seems to be a big debate on facebook surrounding this. Is dirk in it or not? I know george is and his ex wife but photos of dirk on the set with his ex wife is sparking rumours he is in it. Anyone know as its having dirk fans arguing over it,i am not involved in the arguments. :neutral:

Keira, if you've got links to pictures of Dirk on set, I'd love to see them, because he told me point-blank that he was not appearing in this movie.


And while we all wish he were (I, for one, would love to see him play opposite his son), I'm taking his word as accurate.

as you can see he has the exact same clothes on in both photos and it states he is in it.

I did; I talked to him about it back before principle photography began for this film in late April. He told me he's not in it. Therefore, he's not in it.

That could be, and it would be perfectly understandable if he did since his son's in the movie. But it would have to have been very early in the project since they didn't start shooting until the end of April, and those photos were taken long before then - certainly before Christmas of last year.


I am going to have to watch that movie, though.

Interesting, she does say that Dirk is playing Hank in the movie. :o

About the clowns... she does have 3 exs, so...
EDIT: It's not Dirk, the interviewer asks her... it's her latest ex... ;)

EDIT2: On the other hand Dirk's name isn't on the cast anymore... this is all very odd... maybe he was meant to be in but then plans changed?

There's really nothing odd about it...

Dirk is not in this movie!!! :p

Of course he's interested in it, even would support it, since one of his sons is a featured player in it. But his own involvement in it has been greatly exaggerated. Probably not on purpose, but exaggerated nonetheless.

Dirk is, however, in Space Ninjas, where he sports a dashing goatee (it's actually a Van Dyke, but nobody knows the difference). It's a much better goatee than he wore in Demon Spawn.

I just posted the link to the video here because Toni was talking about the movie and as you said, it has George in it. Why Dirk was mentioned as cast (also by Toni) and then wasn't in the cast after all can have many reasons. Maybe he was supposed to be but then didn't want to anymore. Maybe he didn't want to stand in George's way by throwing his hat in the ring.


As for Space Ninjas I'm curious about that one. The trailer looks decent considering it's an indie movie. It's quite amazing to see how well special effects can be these days even on low budget projects if the producers are just willing to put work into it.

Oh, don't take me wrong.
If he says he's not in the movie, he's not in the movie, period. I would think he still knows what he's doing. :D

What I think it's odd, is why Toni Hudson would say he was in the cast playing Hank at an interview in a convention back in early 2018. She is after all in the movie and on top of that one of the producers.

For me it would be perfectly normal to see Dirk at the set, considering one of his sons is in it.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Dirk probably knows what Dirk is doing, too.

I wonder what that must feel like..? ;)

Keira, he's not in it. Definitely not in it, in spite of what was said by some people a year ago, early in pre-production, months before any shooting started.

I got my hands on this film, since IMDB still lists Dirk as being on it. I haven't spotted him a single time, not even in the background as an extra... :/ I wasn't expecting to either, but wonder what's the story about this one. Was his role cut due to time constrains or something else? And are there maybe footage of his part in the the cutting floor's archives?

I have heard of actors being in movies/tv series uncredited... but this is probably the first time I see a film credit someone in a part that isn't in the movie. :O Yes, he's actually credited on the end credits as Stanley!

Any clues or insight? I'm curious. :D
