LEGEND SOCCER COMPANY
Do you like soccer (or, as the rest of the world calls it, football)? Dirk does in a big way, and it has become a family affair.

Dirk's son Roland and 2 friends have started Legend Soccer Company,  developing innovative, sustainable soccer gear (and only soccer gear). Learn about Legend Soccer Company at the link above. Dirk not only endorses Legend Soccer, he's involved with it - "and not only because Roland is my son."

We've gotta wait for John to confirm with The Man before it is official....

But I, for one, am very excited.

This may be another Desert Dirkettes expedition, right??

Sorry if I stepped on toes, John! Retro Con said it's official and has pictures and a panel announcement and everything and I may have gotten a little bit excited....

No problem! I don't mind getting scooped. Much. Really....

As soon as I hear from himself, you'll be the first to know. Or maybe the second.......

Another Desert Dirkette expedition, huh? I think it should be another Dirkette summit.

The only things that comes to mind though is "God help us all".

I think John gave us because he knew this was coming...

Actually, I didn't know. I only knew of a possibility of maybe it could happen.

But he booked it.

More later - actually, more tomorrow, because I'm asleep right now.

Zzzzzzzzz....

Ok. I will clarify. You may not have known details, but you knew that he would book another convention and the Dirkettes would go. Maybe one, maybe two, maybe the whole posse of Dirkettes. You may not have known when, but I think you instinctively knew it would happen again.

And evidently, crashing early one night puts me back on a five hour a night sleep schedule. Even then, I didn't sleep the whole night through. .

Dirk and Dwight at the same convention!?! And on the East Coast??? Sign me up! My official school schedule has nothing going on that weekend... but of course I won't know for sure until classes start and I receive my syllabi. But to see Dirk and Dwight and the van and the BTTF DeLorean and the B&T phone booth and all the fantabulous retro stuff - I'd sacrifice a few grades for that out-of-this-world weekend!

But evidently, the lack of sleep enhances your mind-reading capabilities.

Of course, you're also implying that John has powers of premonition...

Love your new signature by the way.

The whole posse ... Now I like the sound of that, but will he be able to handle all of us at the same time

I neither confirm nor deny what powers John has.

Thank you. Think I can get it in writing and autographed? I may need it in the future...

OK, IACF - since you scooped us all, your thread gets to be the official discussion thread for this con!

I did NOT know this was coming, FYI, not for sure; October is usually busy family time for him, but I also knew there was talk of a possible joint appearance after Starkane canceled - nothing firm enough to even speculate about, then boom!

VBS... AGAIN... Totally out of context.

Dirk was saying if you don't think you have any good options, don't choose what you consider the lesser of the evils. At least that's how I took it. He was NOT promoting starvation, kids!

LMD... *Us*??? Does that mean, there's a chance... ???

Please send me an invite to the planning meeting as the beginning of my week is booked. I know schedules will need to be checked before any decisions can be made. As there is no pto available for this one, that will also be a factor in the decisions. You will receive confirmation of the invitation within 72 hours. I look forward to the planning sessions. VBS out.

Yes, it's going to be on Saturday so hopefully you'll get there in time! They're only taking 15 entrants, so if there is high demand they will do a lottery system. I hope I get in!
