Phoenix - Post-Thanksgiving treat!
Please don't be too disappointed, but the chances are that I will NOT be going to the Phoenix Comic Con Fan Fest this coming December 4-6.
Dirk, however, will be.

As I wait to see if I need my NyQuil Flu ... (Or wait for the hot whisky to kick in..whichever works fastest!) ... I ponder....HOW THE HELL DID I GET THE FLU? I mean... Thanksgiving. In Canada we celebrate it in October. Every year on Thanksgiving my Late Uncle would tell the same story(just to see if we were really listening the year before)- "I STILL remember the lines from my very first Thanksgiving play. I was in grade one. (clears throat).......'Gobble Gobble'..." (He was a turkey in a play! He was born in 1923! My grandmother kept photos from that very day. ) I have all of those old photos now.

We're a little better than a week away from the Phoenix Comic Con Fan Fest!

And it will now doubt be warmer than in many other areas of the country. |
