Smile Has anyone made these?

I have never been a huge porridge/oatmeal person, but I do like to eat it now and again. There is something that has recently caught my interest though, and I am going to start making these I think quite often as they look so delicious and can be adjusted to personal preference like with usual porridge/oatmeal but you don't need to heat it up and you can make them to have over a few days.
I'm talking about overnight oats. So quick and simple, fun to make and endless recipes. Add or take out what you want
Can be eaten any time of the day, I guess they can even be considered as a type of dessert and are also great while travelling (in a cooler bag of course)
I have also started swapping my milk for soya and I love it. The recipes I have seen uses these substitutes including almond and coconut flavours.
A favourite vessel for making these in are mason jars.
What do you think?
If anyone here has made these I'd love to know your recipes/favourite combinations if you don't mind sharing of course

WP, yes, I have made those on occasion. They're ready to eat when you get up, or for lunch. They're terrific on a hot summer morning, I've even eaten them for dinner. I use almond milk that I make myself because of the additives in processed dairy-free milks. I don't usually add fruit because of the sugar content, though I have tried bananas, which were very good. Strawberries are also good. I use quick-cooking oats for this.

I never use soy milk as it isn't good for you. I have an article here about unfermented soy products but don't have the link handy.

"Overnight Oats"? I'd never heard of them. Interesting concept, I admit.

My "overnight oats" are whole groats in a crock pot set on low, and left alone for about 8 or 9 hours. Piping hot oatmeal in the morning!

I haven't made crockpot oats for awhile, and when I did I used regular oats, not quick-cooking ones. Seems most people add yoghurt but I never did. Don't do dairy. Chia seeds seem to be a favorite, too. And fruit. Search for Overnight refrigerated oats - great on a hot day. No cooking!

They've added extras, of course.

I think the strawberry ones look very nice and raspberry, my partner likes blueberries so I'll be thinking of doing that flavour for him
As it goes I have just downloaded a free e-book from a YouTube channel with dairy free milk recipes and I will be looking to make my own and see how that turns out. It's a very good channel aimed at people who want to be healthier, also for vegetarians and vegans alike. I'm not sure how much can be incorporated into a macrobiotic lifestyle as I have only just found out about it,, but I'm enjoying watching the recipes so far

To be honest John I only found out about overnight oats in the last month or so and thought at first it maybe a "fad".......but it's actually been around for a very long time so had the thought of asking here if anyone has ever made them
