Well, it's Holiday Time 2017; another year is closing, the winter solstice is passing, and we're coming together for a moment of celebration. Hanukkah has just passed, Christmas is this weekend, we're about to roll the calendar into a new year, and there are many bright and cheerful observances at this time of year, too many to count.
This is a time to be with family and friends. To party with co-workers, to enjoy special get-togethers with friends old and new. To remember the past year and resolve to do better in the next.
Dirk is with family this Christmas, as I am, and as we hope you are. My thoughts are with those who can't be, who are serving their country in dangerous places, sacrificing their peaceful holiday so that we might celebrate ours in peace.
I think it's a pretty safe bet that Dirk would join me in wishing all our friends and members a very Happy, Peaceful, and Merry Christmas, and a bright and prosperous 2018.

It's almost almost Christmas Eve. I'm not sure if I will make it online tomorrow or Tuesday, so I'm going to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas now. For those traveling, have a safe journey. I hope any get togethers with family and friends remain peaceful.

I know this is a very late post, apologies. It's been a bit of a rough year (actually since 2017) and add the pandemic to it, well...
