Have you been able to convince them yet? 
Hope so...I was thinking about trying to make it to the Con too.

I've put in for it, just waiting to see if I'll have to go AWOL or not. (Then again, the way things are going, I may have quit by then  )

...oh, but Dirk is sooo worth it !!!
...me, well I didn't have to go AWOL...The company I worked for decided to close the facility in my hometown (last month-March) and moved to the larger facility about 1 1/2 hours drive east. Needless to say, not many employees (3) chose to stay with the company and make the drive every day!! Now I'm stressing over finding a job and having $$ to make it to the con...but still have hope that things will all work out!!
