Hello from Orlando!
Hello all!
I'm new here! Just wanted to introduce myself  My name is Anne and I'm from Orlando, Florida. I've liked Dirk since I saw "Sssssss" a few years ago. I remember the A-Team from when I was growing up, but I was too young to watch it! My husband and I are watching the episodes on DVD now Dirk is a great actor and gorgeous too! I hope to meet him someday, maybe at Megacon! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here in the community.  |

Welcome to Dirk's Works, Anne! Thanks for introducing yourself!
Feel free to join in on any of the conversations we're having - even if it's been awhile since anyone's contributed (who knows, you may start something!). We've got a lot of different topics and features to enjoy.
We keep a current list of Dirk's appearances (there's a link at the bottom of my post), and I update it whenever Dirk confirms an event, same day (if humanly possible - sometimes it's the next morning...) 
If there is an upcoming convention in your area that isn't on our list - and it's for a weekend that he doesn't already have something booked - it can't hurt to contact the convention organizers and ask them to invite Dirk. If they don't already have contact info for Dirk or one of his reps, they can always send an invitation through this website, and I'll make sure Dirk gets it.
I agree with your assessment of Dirk's talent, but I must confess his "gorgeousness" is lost on me. But not my wife...

Hi Anne,
It's so nice to hear from you! I'm a new member too (just recently joined up) and I'd love to get to know people on this forum as well.
I also have the A-team on DVD (and BSG as well). I love to watch the episodes again. It's such a great show !!! I'm a huge fan of Dirk myself! I think he is a very talented actor and author as well. I've also read (and re-read) both of his books. And I so agree with you on the gorgeousness part 
I would love to meet him too one day, but I live overseas 
Anyway, welcome to the forum and I hope to hear from you some more.

I keep asking the Megacon folks to invite Dirk to the Orlando or Tampa con, but they don't reply.
