There has already been a couple of videos on facebook of him saying hi to fans. I cant make it to liverpool..I am at Crufts this weekend..had my tickets long before dirk going to liverpool were announced

This was my first time to the Liverpool con and I had a blast. I do hope Dirk and Roland had a fun weekend as well !!!! They must be so tired after a busy weekend like this. I enjoyed meeting up again and chatting for a while.

I have a feeling that Dirk doesn't start every morning with breakfast and an episode of The A-Team and pair his evening cigar with an episode of BSG. As a fan, it's easy to forget that actors and actresses have a very different memory of their own work from the other side of the camera. Plus, names... some people have a gift for remembering them, but if you're anything like me, there are days when you can look straight at a person you've seen every day for the past two years and totally blank on what to call them. Melinda Culea is a person with an unusual name that he worked with for maybe a year and then didn't really see afterwards as he went on, living his daily life. The only reason I remember her name is from seeing it displayed over and over in the episode credits back when I watched A-Team addictively a mere five years ago. It takes me ten minutes to come up with the name of the famous redhead actress in the Oceans movies. Parents regularly mix up their own children's names. I think we should give Dirk a break.

I share your opinion. Also ... I'm not very good with people's names either and I am that parent that mixes up the names of her own children.
So yes I think Dirk deserves a break. Absolutely!
