Em, the Great State of Tennessee is the home to some of the best whiskey distilleries on the planet - Scotland included.
Nashville, Tennessee is considered the capitol of country music, and was the home of Elvis Presley.
And Dirk will be visiting the city of Murfreesboro in May, God willing and the creek don't rise...

Must make a little correction there Dawg. Memphis was Elvis' home. Check out Graceland! And Jack Daniels is a friend to many in the state. :-) I'm from the great State of TN originally. Hoping that this is an event I will finally be able to make! I think this may just call for a long overdue road trip. Its at least on my calendar to remind me. I think I'll go start making sure my drawl is perfect for the occaision. :-D Thanks for getting the information out, it was a pleasant surprise to see this morning. :-)

Oh - and one minor edit: we got the convention name mixed up for Dirk's November appearance. The Providence, RI show is called "Rhode Island Comic Con" and their website is https://www.ricomiccon.com. Check it out - Dirk isn't the only Galactica cast member who's going to be there!

I´m SO sorry Dawn …. I´ve certainly chosen a very unfortunate group of words there…. Please allow me to rephrase and redeem myself …
I only meant that I’ve read @Beverly saying many times on these forums that she lives in a very small town in Tennessee and her dying wish is to get to know Dirk but she didn’t think He would ever dare to visit her state …. I wanted to infom her that DIRK IS COMING THERE !!! Against all her thinking, proving once again He loves to visit and shake hands with all his fans wherever they might live, it could be in a very cosmopolitan city like NYC or London or a small town deep inside the US …. He is such a sweet and humble soul and I admire and respect him for that … When I met him He told me He would love to come down here to Venezuela …. Can you imagine that? Of course I was teasing him saying He was here once when making “The A Team” … But we both knew that wasn’t for real !! We had a good laugh! It’s just the way He is … warm and joker …
Well @Beverly …. Here you have the opportunity of making your lifetime wish come true …. The rest is in your hands dear …
