Hiii Karin!
Yes I worked in Germany, near Bremen. I hopefully go back in the summer!
Well I got a suprise from a different corner, I have sent 2 open applications and I am invited to come for a meeting for the first application. Hopefully the one on the farm will invite me aswell. I have no experience with this so I will wonder how it goes and thanks to the local goverment I can pay the bills in january 
So I am happy
Christmas was good!
I told Sara to come here, she received a letter from Esther and will reply on that as well.

How about Christmas Day? I'm sure all fine and time for family and friends.  I confess..Too much food...  I do some exercise since a year but I need to do more these days.. 
Adri, thanks so much to you for your posts. I appreciate them so much because you're a sweet friend here, you know. And like Karin say, we miss Sara too but I know she'll write when she can. The first is the first, in the real life, I mean. If I know she's well this is the most important. I'm so happy she received my letter!! I thought perhaps it was losed..Sometimes postal mail is thus..Now, I know that not.Thanks about it too.
Wow, it's fantastic you explain about the application! Well done!! Who look for a thing and believe in it, it's coming!! Well for you!! Explain new news about this, please. 
Hallo Karin!! It's nice hear from you too. I see you've had a beautiful Christmas too! We hadn't snow in the city, either, but near here they've had a lot of it!! And these days we've very bad storms with many wind and rain. Rain is bad when it's coming with wind from the sea..I put some videos of the damages near the sea..Horrible..They're five days without to see the sun...and in a four days it won't be shining yet..
Enjoy your day with friends!! And I wish for if I don't see to you before, a good entrance to 2009!!
I'm going out this afternoon too. I hope can to be in chat soon!! I must have to share my pc with my sister, these days, and now I've it for a few minutes.
How are the rest of DBC? I hope well and not a lot of snow in Usa and Canada.  Have a nice day and see you here before 2009.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas period with or without family and friends, whatever the weather.
Esther, I'm so sorry about the weather in your part of the world! That is quite uncommon, even for the Costa Brava, to have such storms one after another, isn't it? And about 9 days without sunshine .... (though quite common where I live) pretty unusual for Spain.
Adri, nice to see you on the board again! That was some hard work in Germany.  I hope you enjoyed the time off you had with the holidays. And for the job applications I hope it'll work out all right and bring the right one to you (ik zal voor je duimen!).
Karin, a bit of snow at Christmas ... I know the feeling, would have liked that too. But no white Christmas this year either.  And about that hangover, I'm afraid I can't make any promises. 
At the moment it's sunny and dry, though cold (max. around freezing point), so beautiful weather to be outside. Maybe I'll take a stroll by the beach later ...

Good Morning to everyone!
How was everyone's Christmas? I sure hope that we all enjoyed the holiday no matter what was happening in our lives.
We had a really nice time here, but it was pretty cold! Saturday was the warmest day in weeks, -5 celcius...and yesterday we had a few snow flurries.
It is back to work today!
Time to turn back to a little reality before New Years!

How are you? I see you've had a beautiful Christmas. Well!! I miss most of your posts but this is why they're Christmas days and not time for internet. We're coming back to the normal life, so..I will see you (all) then.
Asmay, I agree. It's inusual to be without sun too much days here, but this winter I see around in the world the weather is unusual. Isn't it? I hope the sun to be rising in the New Year. Sure.
I wish to all a Happy New Year 2009, a good begining to it and my best dreams for you, all! I'm leaving tomorrow for a four days and I'm not here until Sunday.
