Budgetwise Orlando is too soon for me and Australia to far, but I'll start saving money (and buying lottery tickets) for the Winnipeg convention.

Well, since we would have to go through the Channel anyway, we could stop at the British coast to take our UK friends on board. Might get a little crowded, but there would be more hands to hold paddles

Thanks! As of now, it is a plan to go, however, you just never know what could happen and it is a long time away....so let's just keep our fingers crossed that all goes well to get there.
I hope everyone has a good day. It is cold and blowing snow again...-24 with the wind right now..I'm feeling under the weather, so I am staying home today to get some rest.

Well I'll definately be at the Winnipeg show, so Sharon if you manage to get there we shall have to meet up

It would be cool if Richard and Herb were there again ( they were here last year..and Richard again the year before ), so it would be like a little mini BSG convention

I would be so lucky to go! My husband said, use the air miles and have a good time! I laughed because all i had to say was "guess who's coming to Winnipeg in Oct.? He knew right away, lol....I hope to bring a friend with me...don't like to travel somewhere by myself if I haven't been there before....I hope to meet up with everyone...it would be a great time!

I think it's only fair that you girls in the Northern parts get a chance at meeting Dirk after such a long time, so I hope that nothing unexpected will happen and that everyone will be able to go.

You deserve it! Nice, the idea of a small BSG conv. within the large one. Let's keep our fingers crossed, who knows what might happen?

And Sharon, take good care of yourself! We are having a regular flu wave here at the moment (not feeling so great myself right now, so I'm doubling on the vit. C intake with oranges et.). At least, the Winnipeg conv. is a nice thing to look forward to.

Thanks Asmay, i am feeling better...yes, we have extra oranges, etc. here in the house just for that reason...hopefully the worst is past and we will all feel better by Sunday, as we have my mother's birthday party to attend. Get lost of rest and plenty of fluids, it helped me!

There's some pretty cool things to see in Winnipeg since the convention center is downtown, it's close to alot of cool stuff. I'm planning on maybe staying the weekend in the city with my daughter and taking in a day at the convention and another day of shopping. Make it a girls weekend.
Only problem is..it's on Halloween, which makes it a bit tricky ( pardon the pun ).
