Rhode Island I have never been to that place but I´m sure I will go there for that event!!! Anybody else who wants to join me? So we could maybe travel together or meet there...

Hope he wil still come to Europe again as well... My daughter is now a hughe fan and wants to meet him AGAIN. She is watching The A-team every day now and they both want to see the Galactica too.

I guess Dirk maybe said it (about being the last time to see him) to encourage my daughter to look at him. I just really really REALLY hope he will be at Gent again in 2012.

Emily, could you imagine going to that comic con in Providence, Rhode Island? I said I would travel even to the north pole. So Rhode Island is where I absolutely have to go to!
And Zilfstar, I also hope he will come to Gent cause thats much cheaper for me, too. But anyway I would also go to USA to meet him. We never know for how many years he will meet his fans. Maybe this is the last year now...And so the last chance for us!

Toulouse is a picturesque town in southern France - a bit closer to the Mediterranean than the Atlantic (and closer to Barcelona, Spain than Paris).

TGS hosts a convention series in Toulouse - anime, manga, cosplay, etc.

It's entirely possible that someone we all know might be attending.

I'm having some trouble with the website, but that's it - and it's in French, so I only know every seventh or eighth word...

Anyway - not set in concrete, but it's something to keep on the radar! (And Toulouse is a lot closer to some of you than Rhode Island, right?)

Ahhhhh! Okay there were times in my life I was able to speak and understand french very, very well.
But Dawg, I have just checked out that web page and what I could find out is that HE is already on the list "invitée" which means that he will presumably be there. There is also a little note that he will do a question/answer pannel and he will give autographs.
And they really "advertise" with his face.I mean his face is almost the first thing you see when you visit that web page. So we should defineteyl keep an eye on that!

But so far no words about tickets and so on. Guess there will something in the near future... Hope they will add a "translate this web page into english" button to their web page

Hmmm, I guess it never is. He was supposed to come to Bochum in Sept. 2010 and had to cancel a week before the event. Or the cancellation of Knight Con last year in England. It can always happen, it's a risk you can't eliminate. I still went to Bochum, because everything was booked, but it sure wasn't the same without him...

Well.... Rhode Island isn't going to be for me. With a husband, 2 kids (7 and 10) a horse and a pony, not to mention the cat, the dog, the guinea pigs, hamster and snake.... O yeah... and work!! it is an impossible journey for me.

Toulouse... well that IS interesting. But then in April the kids just have to attent school, husband has his work en me, let's seeeeee..... Feldergarb! Frack! It is ofcourse a weekend filled with work for me (every 4 weeks I get a big pile of work to do for one of my clients, 140 people depend on it to get payed... did I mention FRACK! allready )

And about Gent: I had sent an email to my dear friend Stefaan from FACTS and he posted me a kind reply. And I quote: "He is indeed a favourite on the show but you'll not likely to see him this year as there are so many other wonderful guests around who should be given a chance. But maybe in a couple of years or when he happens to be in the neighbourhood again." So now I am hoping he will be in the neighbourhood this year anyway but I guess that is hoping for a horse to go grow wings and fly....

Oh Zilfstar, I know exactly what you are talking about. In the end of April Im going to write very important exams.They are more important than any exam before.The last one will be thursday 26 April. And so I am busy that month too. But I will go to Tolousse cause I really want to go there. No matter what. Im happy it somehow fits into my exam schedule. So I will probably leave the day after my last exam and spend the weekend over thete. As expected I couldnt convince anybody to come with me. And Rhode Island. I told my parents about that plan. Ok Im 23 but anyway they say I have gone mad. It will absolutely bring my finances into serious difficulties! But I habe already both tickets...So now Im closer to make my dream come true.

Its good that you asked your friend about Gent. So we know that we can plan to go to other conventions

@ STARBUCK-FOREVER: Do you live more in the south or in northern Germany?
@ Flash: yes but I hope all will go well.But thats if course always a risk. We have to live with that!
And you wont believe how difficult ut was to get my Tolousse ticket bought. They should offer atleast a English web page...anyway I got a confirmation that looks like a ticket

@ Phantom: I am sooo happy about having that BSG reunion. It sounds great.

Btw is anybody here who knows if there is any punluc transpirt from Niston international airport to Thode Island? Otherwise I have to get used to the fact that I'll have to find the way by car....
