Re: Awesomeness!
What an awesome, awesome little creature...
Moral of the Story: Don’t show too much tail when you are out in public! You never know who is watching you and who wants to get a piece of you…… even more appropriate advice now in this new age of drones. When suspicious, just “ tuck tail and run” and sort it out later.

Re: Awesomeness!
QUESTION: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO LIVE?
Peter Loedden, studied at University of Life
Updated Jul 5, 2017
I am a 72 year old male and I can tell you the best way to live is stress free. How can one live stress free in today's environment, especially if one lives in a big city, you ask. What is stress?
Stress is a gut reaction, a feeling, in response to an external stimulus. We have been conditioned to react stressful to an external stimulus. All you have to do, is change your reaction to the particular stimulus, which causes you stress. How? In an instant!
You DECIDE this very moment that this stimulus (traffic, mean boss, angry customer, etc) is not going to cause you stress. It is an easy decision to make, but it will have to be done at every opportunity until it becomes second nature to you. And then you will be able to completely live stress free. The rest of your life will fall nicely into place.
Interestingly, this holds true for many other so called negative stimuli reactions. It also holds true for many positive attributes, for instance unconditional love. Love is not the gooey or horny feeling you get when you look your partner in the eye. It, again, is a decision. Decide at this very moment you will love your partner (or any other significant or insignificant person in your life) UNCONDITIONALLY.
Try it, it will surprise you, and best of all, you've got nothing to lose except a stressful life!
QUESTION:
I like the part about Stress and how you can make a decision to rule it out of your life. Unconditional love though is not that simple. I can't love someone unconditionally if they don't treat me right. Or I will still leave them no matter how much I love them.
PETER:
Your answers to your questions are: Yes and no.
Let me explain, and this is garnered from life experience, not books or (so-called) psychiatrists.
At first, to make the decision to love someone may not seem to be simple. But once I tell you what happens when you do make that decision, you will rush to do just that. The outcome will affect two people; the recipient and yourself. The recipient may or may not in time realize that you love them unconditionally, let's hope they do. But the effect it has on you is nothing short of miraculous. The instant you make that decision, you are covered, as I like to call it. You see, from that moment on, that person cannot hurt you anymore. It does not matter if they lie, steal, cheat, or anything else, it cannot touch you, because you love them. You are setting yourself free! Now, that's empowerment at its best. You become invincible to pain or any treatment you find to be undesirable, in any shape or form.
It is YOU, who becomes the main beneficiary of that love which you give away/bestow on someone else! And this, my friend, happens to be the grand plan of love.
Let me digress and dream here for a short moment: Can you imagine a world where more people do that? Not only to their partners, but even to their neighbors and even strangers, who may or may not have hurt them? Think about it.
Now to your second part of your comment: No, even unconditional love does not mean you have to stay with that person forever. We change as we grow and some changes become undesirable to ourselves or our partners and parting ways is often the better solution in that situation. If the problem cannot be resolved it is often the only solution to go our separate ways, and yes, go in love.
Fortunately, there are about eight different types of love, I will mention four of them, it might make your decision easier:
Agape: unconditional, chosen, committed.
Storge: Love for friends and family.
Phileo: affectionate, platonic.
Eros: passionate, emotional, sexual.
Be well!
QUESTION: WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS TYPE OF LOVE?
PETER:
Where did I find it? Good question. In a round-about way I could say that I found it in my heart after working long and hard in my head first on the how. Actually, it is a decision. You see, love is among many other things an active verb, which implies you have to do something in order to get there or achieve it. And what you have to do is to decide that's what you are going to do. It's not necessarily an over-night process to get there, it took me a while. Hurt, pettiness, ego, self-righteousness are all things that stood (and can/will) stand in your way. It can be a tough process, especially because you need to be brutally honest with yourself. BUT, there are no higher rewards in this life once you realize you have made it to that point.
Consider the alternatives: Is your present state of non-love or conditional love serving you well?
There are many types of love, this is called Agape love. Google has many great definitions on that.

Re: Awesomeness!
I received this in an email. It was written by a woman named Barbara who lives in Florida.
Eglin Joint Base Command located near Ft. Walton, Florida, is presently the largest Military Complex in the world and encompasses a large contingent of Air Force units, Naval Warfare units, and the 7th Army Special Forces and 6th Army Rangers.
My home is exactly 5 miles outside the main gate of Eglin AFB.
Most folks in the USA don't live in a Military Town, with lots of guys in uniform walking the streets and jets overhead daily. They go on with their lives unaware of what a Military Town is all about. And that's OK…but I want to share with you what it's like to live in a Military Town. We see guys in uniform all the time, we have state of the art, high-performance aircraft in the air nearby all day long. We hear the SOUND OF FREEDOM when an F-22 or F-35 streaks over the house… and we read in the local paper, some times daily, but at least weekly, of the loss of one of our own in combat in the Middle East.
And that is what brings me to the reason for this email.
Staff Sergeant Mark DeAlencar was 37 years old, had a family and was a Green Beret with the 7th Army Special Forces stationed here in the Fort Walton area. He was killed on April 8, 2018, while fighting Islamic State in eastern Afghanistan. In January of this year, he was deployed for the second time to Afghanistan. He promised his adopted daughter, Octavia, that he would be home for her High School Graduation. He didn't make it. But she went to graduation anyway. And in the audience were eighty (80) US 7th Armed Special Forces soldiers from her dad’s unit in full Parade Dress Uniform. Additionally, they brought THEIR FAMILIES to be with them, as well.
And as Octavia ascended the steps to the stage to receive her diploma THEY ALL SILENTLY STOOD UP. And when she was presented her diploma they ALL CHEERED, CLAPPED, WHISTLED… and YES, CRIED. Everyone in attendance then stood up and cried and cheered. Octavia had graduated and yes, she had lost her Dad…but she had 80 other DADS to stand there with her and take his place. I just wanted to share this moment with you…and remind you that THIS IS WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LIVE IN A MILITARY TOWN. This is the real America we all love… and I'm proud to be part of it. May God bless our men in uniform and their families who give so much.
Barbara

I have discovered a jewel. I don't know why I never heard of her before as she seems to be very much loved by her incredibly large audiences. She's all over YouTube and is loved there as well. She is truly awesome....In case you don't know her, meet Dana Winner:

I am not really a fan (she mostly sings in Flemish but also in English, German and South African) but this is weird that you came across her ...
She is really nice in real life although I never met her personally.
She did a TV show on Flemish TV called "Liefde voor Muziek" where she sings songs from other Flemish/Dutch singers.
She did a song from the other singer from your second link where she moved her to tears.

If you google "Dana Winner" and "Liefde voor Muziek" you will get all the songs she did for the show .... although most of them in Flemish.
Glad you enjoy her music

Re: Awesomeness!
Wm, she just popped up! I had music playing on YT. When one song ended, another began, and suddenly there she was. She was so good and I had never heard of her. No matter what language she sings in, it's all good. I enjoy them all. Happy to have found her.
Sometimes the camera is on her audience and the place is always huge and packed. Sort of like Neil Diamond at Madison Square Garden except Dana's audience is so quiet and respectful, not that Neil's isn't respectful - just different. Take a look, all the way to the end:

I love both these guys!

Re: Awesomeness!
Hey Ojay, This morning Ron Moss was on Belgian TV. Apparently another American who has been loving in Belgium for a while. He recorded a song with a little less famous Belgian singer "Ella Luna".
You can check it out on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X029Lqav-A
Not the greatest song, but kind of cool.

Re: Awesomeness!
. HUGGING IS
Hugging is healthy. It helps the immune system, cures depression, reduces stress and induces sleep. It's invigorating, rejuvenating, and has no unpleasant side effects. Hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug.
Hugging is all natural. It is organic, naturally sweet, no artificial ingredients, nonpolluting, environmentally friendly and 100 percent wholesome.
Hugging is the ideal gift. Great for any occasion, fun to give and receive, shows you care, comes with its own wrapping and, of course, fully returnable.
Hugging is practically perfect. No batteries to wear out, inflation-proof, non fattening, no payments, theft-proof and nontaxable.
Hugging is an underutilized resource with magical powers. When we open our hearts and arms, we encourage others to do the same.
Think of the people in your life. Are there any words you'd like to say? Are there any hugs you want to share? Are you waiting and hoping someone else will ask first? Please don't wait! Initiate!

Re: Awesomeness!
```````````````````````TRUE LOVE```````````````````````
Moses Mendelssohn, the grandfather of the well-known German composer, was far from handsome. Along with a rather short stature, he had a grotesque humpback.
One day he visited a merchant in Hamburg who had a lovely daughter named Frumtje. Moses fell hopelessly in love with her. But Frumtje was repulsed by his misshapen appearance.
When it was time for him to leave, Moses gathered his courage and climbed the stairs to her room to take one last opportunity to speak with her. She was a vision of heavenly beauty but caused him deep sadness by her refusal to look at him. After several attempts at conversation, Moses shyly asked, Do you believe marriages are made in heaven?
Yes, she answered, still looking at the floor. And do you?
Yes I do, he replied. You see, in heaven at the birth of each boy, the Lord announces which girl he will marry. When I was born, my future bride was pointed out to me. Then the Lord added, But your wife will be humpbacked.
Right then and there I called out, Oh, Lord, a humpbacked woman would be a tragedy. Please, Lord, give me the hump and let her be beautiful.
Then Frunttje looked up into his eyes and was stirred by some deep memory. She reached out and gave Mendelssohn her hand and later his devoted wife.
